Eden National Boarding School is a private school located in Biratnagar, Nepal. The main slogan of the school is "a child today may lead the nation tomorrow."It was established in 2048 B.S.,poush 2 by Miss Lily Kafle and Mr. Phadindra Nath Sharma as its principle. The atmosphere in which this school is situated is very pleasant. It is surrounded by a play ground on one side. The school has two rows of big buildings. The name of the school is written on the front building. There are ten class rooms in the front building.New buildings are being constructed. Other ten rooms in the back building are used for different purposes such as the Head Master's Office, Library, the Clerk's Office, the Science Laboratory, the Teachers' Common-room etc. There is also a hostel. There are forty teachers, a PET, a librarian, a clerk and six peons in our school. All the teachers are qualified and experienced. The total number of students of this school is about more than five hundred. Students go to school in uniform. The uniform for boys consists of blue pant and red shirt(senior) blue pant and light blue shirt(junior). For girls it consists of blue skirt and red shirt(senior) blue skirt and light blue shirt(junior).The shirts either for junior or senior girls or boys a school batch is kept in the pochet of shirt. The school functions from 10.30 A.M. to 4 P.M. classes begin after a mass prayer. During the recess hour students go to the playground. Some students also go to the library and read newspaper there. In games period students play football, volleyball, etc. Girl students play ring ball, and portball. The library of this school is a big one. There are about 10-20 books on different subjects; students have a library period in weekly routine. students are allowed to borrow books from library and refund them after a week. Students observe Republic Day, Independence Day, and Teacher's Day; they also celebrate the Ganesh Puja and the Saraswati Puja in the school. They hold debate competitions and games and sports every year. In annual examinations the students from this school have shown good performances. Many students from this school have occupied position in our state.Since its establishment, it has made persistent effort, outstanding support and contributions to the seekers in their academic enhancement. It has two decades long experience in providing excellent quality education and shaping learner's aims and life. The School saw its first batch SLC graduates in the year 2056 B.S. Since then it has never looked back. The school has been able to lead in secondary level education in the short period of time. As a result, the School's product scored Board Top (93.25%) in SLC in the year 2063 B.S. students are also provided with music and dance teachers for their own betterment. Separate dance class and music classes are available. From 2068,new school administration team was made.New plans were implemented in increasing the school level education.
